Meet Millie – a 50-lb Sweetheart!
Millie is a shy, lovable girl who’s fully vetted, house-trained and crate trained. She currently lives with both cats and dogs in her foster home and especially adores playing and going for walks with her canine foster friends. In fact, she seems to prefer canines over humans so a home with another pup would be ideal.
Millie is fearful and cautious when meeting new people, stranger danger, and seems to prefer a quiet home without a lot of activity. With the help of a generic form of Prozac, she is working on building confidence, but will need a patient adopter who understands she will need a little extra time to feel truly safe. Foster parent is seeing improvements and when she does let her guard down, her playful, silly personality shines. To help her overcome her shyness and build confidence, she has started attending doggie daycare and doing very well.
Her foster parents describe her as a great dog, who is ready to find a loving, patient family. If you are ready to help a sweet, gentle girl feel safe and loved, Millie just might be the perfect addition to your home.
