Meet Alfie!

Alfie is a one-year-old bundle of zoomies with a heart as big as his energy level! This happy-go-lucky boy is always on the move and ready for his next adventure, whether that means sniffing everything in sight, playing a spirited game of keep-away, or finding someone to join in his fun.

Alfie is still very much a puppy and is learning his manners, so he'll need patient adopters who understand that he has some growing up to do. He's crate trained and potty trained.

Underneath all that energy is an affectionate, people-loving goofball who forms strong bonds with his humans. Once he's had a chance to burn off some steam, Alfie is happy to settle in for some snuggle time.

Alfie enjoys the company of other dogs and has done well with them in his three foster homes. He gets along well with dogs he meets on neighborhood outings and has enjoyed many successful playdates with canine friends. He also enjoys meeting other dogs at adoption events. However, Alfie has been returned from two adoptions because of conflicts with the resident dogs. Alfie could thrive as the only dog in the home, where he can soak up all the attention. A home with a mellow, non-reactive dog might also be a possibility, but careful introductions and a thoughtful match would be essential.

Alfie would love an active family who can provide plenty of exercise, playtime, chew toys, and continued training. A securely fenced yard would be a big plus for this energetic boy.
