I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Penne

I'm Available | Special Needs: Cerebellar Hypoplasia

Hello, my name is Penne. I was one of Foster Mom's baby kittens about four years ago. I come from a fantastic line of beautiful pasta kittens.  I was adopted and returned because the original owner was overwhelmed by my "tremors" that I developed about 2 years ago.  It is called cerebellar hypoplasia, or Wobbley Cat Syndrome. This condition is likely permanent, but the good news is it is mostly "cosmetic," which is ridiculous because LOOK at me.  I have adapted pretty well. If I want to do it, it gets done.  Nothing is stopping me. Sometimes I stumble and fall, but I always get back up.  Stairs? Got that. Litterbox without a giant mess? Got that too. Bowl of food? I'm a little plus-sized, so clearly I'm doing fine. I don't leave a mess; I AM a lady, for crying out loud. I'm pretty low maintenance and friendly. We can hang out, or I'll just find a nice warm place and nap until you get home.  I came from a house with children, and I did fine; however, I feel that I have reached the point in my life where any children will have to know how to be gentle and kind to me because of my differently- abledness.  I don't mind other animals as long as they are nice to me. I am not a troublemaker. Once I feel safe, I will come and sit on your lap and make biscuits, and you can tell me your secrets(I won't tell a soul) or about your day.
