Meet Velvet: The Spicy Queen of the Scratching Post

Don’t let the soft name fool you—Velvet is a powerhouse! As the only girl in a litter of rowdy brothers, she learned early on how to hold her own. Found in a garage at just one week old, she has blossomed into a bold, confident, and delightfully "spicy" kitten. With her sleek black coat already showing signs of being long and luxurious, she is destined to be a breathtaking adult cat.

Velvet is a natural-born climber with a flair for the dramatic. If she feels the breakfast service is running a few minutes behind, you’ll find her perched at the very top of the tallest scratching post, meowing loudly to let her foster family know she’s ready for her refill. She is a wonderful communicator and isn’t afraid to "chat" about her day or her needs. If you’re looking for a kitten with a big personality and a voice to match, Velvet is your girl.

When she isn't busy out-wrestling her brothers or scaling furniture, Velvet reveals her surprisingly tender side. She is a total "foster dad's girl" and loves to curl up right next to her favorite humans for a deep, peaceful nap. She offers the perfect balance of independence, high-energy play, and genuine affection. Velvet is ready to find a forever home where her spirit can soar (literally) and her cuddles will be cherished.
