I'm not quite ready to go to my new home.

Hi! My Name Is Lemon Drop

I'm in the Recovery Room - I'll Be Available Soon | Bonded With: Butterfinger
Lemon Drop is currently awaiting specialized surgery to remove a large ear polyp—a delicate procedure requiring an advanced surgical specialist and significant medical resources. Once she has recovered and is comfortable again, she and her beloved kitten Butterfinger—deeply bonded and devoted to one another—will be ready to begin their next chapter together through ARPO.

Lemon Drop is a gentle, easygoing sweetheart who truly shines in a calm, loving environment. She’s happiest simply being near her people—relaxing in the same room, soaking up chin and head rubs, or lounging by a window watching the world go by. Her slightly cross-eyed look only adds to her charm, and it doesn’t slow her down one bit—Lemon Drop still runs, plays, and enjoys life like any happy kitty.

She is bonded with her adorable kitten, Butterfinger, a joyful little soul who brings out Lemon Drop’s softer side and gives her confidence. Their bond is special and comforting—where one goes, the other feels safe.
Having lived as a stray, Lemon Drop is understandably scared of other cats and may hiss or hide at first. She and her daughter have not been around dogs or children. With patience, time, and gentle introductions, they have the potential to warm up to families of all sizes and to very calm, respectful animals who pose no threat or aggression.
Lemon Drop and Butterfinger are looking for a peaceful home where they can stay together, feel safe, and continue learning just how wonderful indoor life can be.

Lemon Drop is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.
