I'm ready for my new family!

Hi there, I’m Desmond, and in the words of Missy Elliott, “I got a cute face, chubby waist, thick legs in shape, rump shakin’ both ways, make you do a double take.” As you can see, I’m a handsome, big-cheeked fellow. When I was found on the streets, I was battling a nasty ear infection, but with care and time, I’ve healed and discovered just how wonderful indoor life can be.

I’m a people-loving charmer who wins hearts wherever I go. The wonderful folks at the vet’s office called me a dapper gentleman. I adore being involved in whatever my foster mom is doing, and nothing makes me happier than good head scritches — my fangs even peek out when it gets really good. In my new home I would love to have a big window where I can watch the world outside, plus some warm, cozy spots perfect for serious snoozing.

I’m FIV+ but don’t let that discourage you from considering me. As long as I live indoors and receive timely medical care, if needed, I’ll be just fine. I could be an only cat, but I also would be fine with a female friend or a chill male. I am weary of big dogs. So if you’re looking for a sweet, fun-loving “big boi” with a whole lot of personality, I just might be your guy.
