Blinken's story began with a rough start—this sweet orange kitten came to ARPO with a severe eye infection. Despite daily care and round-the-clock ointment from his loving foster mom, both of his eyes eventually ruptured, and he underwent successful double enucleation surgery once he was big enough. But don’t worry—this brave little guy hasn’t let blindness slow him down one bit!
While healing, Blinken met his perfect match in his foster home: another single kitten named Achoo. The two became instant best friends, and now they do everything together—playing, exploring, and curling up for snuggles. Their bond is heartwarming and unbreakable.
Blinken is recovering beautifully and thriving with Achoo by his side. They are now ready for adoption and must go to their forever home together.
If you're looking for two resilient, joyful companions who’ll fill your home with love and inspiration, Blinken and Achoo are your perfect pair!
Blinken tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). FIV is not easily spread—cats typically live long, healthy lives with it, especially when kept indoors and given regular vet care. It just means their immune system may need a little extra support over time. Don’t let those three letters fool you—this little one has a big, healthy heart and plenty of love to give!
Blinken will be at Nine Lives Cat Cafe until 8/19/25. To schedule a time to meet him and other ARPO kitties, please visit ninelivescatcafe.com . Normal ARPO adoption requirements still apply.
