I'm ready for my new family!

CJ is a handsome orange boy who traded his outdoor life for the comfort of a foster home, and he’s been loving every moment of the good life indoors!

CJ is full of fun and energy; he’ll happily chase after balls, springs, string toys, and kitty friends (really, anything that moves!). When playtime is done, he enjoys lounging in the window to watch the world go by or curling up right in his foster mom’s lap the moment she sits down. He’s also content just hanging out nearby, always keeping his person company.

He loves other cats and would do best with a male feline friend with a high energy level to keep him entertained and give him companionship when his human is away. CJ’s feline friend ideally enjoys wrestling and chasing with him! While CJ enjoys being picked up and carried around, he isn’t a fan of having his feet or tail touched. He’s also still learning not to nibble during play, so a home with older, respectful kids (or no kids) would be the best fit.

CJ eats a moisture-rich diet (canned food) as he does not eat dry food/kibble. The good news is that cats fed a wet food diet tend to be healthier and live longer than those fed dry food! 

CJ is neutered, UTD on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped, and has a negative fecal. His ideal adopter will feed him a moisture-rich species-appropriate diet (wet food) and has a young, playful cat/kitten. He is being fostered in central Indianapolis.
