I'm not quite ready to go to my new home.

Garbanzo, affectionately known as Banzo, is a resilient 6–8-month-old pup with a heart full of love and a spirit that can’t be broken. He was brought into a local emergency vet clinic as a stray with a severe limp, and X-rays revealed an unrepairable fracture in the top of his femur.

Despite the pain, Banzo charmed the vet staff with his sweet, friendly nature. Once transferred to a loving foster home, he was scheduled for surgery—and while the only option was amputation, Banzo has taken it all in stride. Now fully on the mend, he’s getting stronger every day and keeping up just fine with the resident dogs in his foster home.

Banzo may only have three legs, but he’s got more than enough love (and energy!) to go around. He’ll be ready to find his forever family soon—could it be you?
