Meet Millie – a 50-lb Sweetheart!

Millie is a gentle, lovable girl who’s fully vetted, house-trained and crate trained. She is friendly with other dogs and currently lives peacefully with both cats and dogs in her foster home. She especially adores playing with one of her canine foster friends and would thrive in a home with another confident pup.

Millie can be fearful, and cautious when meeting new people and would do well in a home with women.  She is working on building confidence with the help of a generic form of Prozac. She will need a patient adopter who understands she will need a little extra time to feel truly safe. When she does, her playful, silly personality shines. To help build her confidence she occasionally attends doggy daycare and does well.

Her foster parents describe her as an ideal dog, who is ready to find the loving family she really deserves. If you are ready to help a sweet, gentle girl feel safe and loved, Millie just might be the perfect addition to your home.
